No one wants to be in a relationship with someone they can’t trust.  Promising to do something or giving a person your word but failing to keep it undermines and tears away at the very fabric of the relationship.

The primary purpose of God’s Word is to give us true self-knowledge – a mirror such that when we look at ourselves properly, we see ourselves as God wants us to see ourselves.

Jesus was interceding in the perception gap of who the disciples thought He was. And He quickly discerned that this gap could not be filled by earthy knowledge but by God alone. The same is true for business leaders; we need to rely on God to provide the truths we are to believe. 

You never look good trying to make someone else look bad.

We are working at a time of hyper-competitiveness and an unprecedented pace of change, and feelings of stress may be at their highest levels ever.

The Bible is the source of all good teachings about treating people well.  Business leaders and entrepreneurs need to make sure their work environments are inviting places for employees.  They must lead by example, and the best examples come from the Bible.

It is fascinating that we can learn the best lessons from the most unexpected sources. And that is at the heart of the Bible.  God is always found in the most unanticipated ways and unexpected places.

Business leaders and entrepreneurs must drive the productivity of their businesses.  But this productivity cannot be at the expense of efficiency.  Working hard and toiling is another means of busyness, of wasting time to waste time.  Look for ways to be productive without overworking.

Business leaders and entrepreneurs need to be adept at giving and receiving praise.  And should not condone flattery.  Learn how to accept a compliment and then teach others how to do the same.

Successful leaders and entrepreneurs know that the ability to focus is essential.  And to focus requires a quiet mind. And to focus requires a quiet mind. The Bible teaches that chaos is our enemy and that God wants to help us be successful. So lean on God and listen to Him to help develop a quiet mind.
